Suspected mass shooter Travis Reinking, accused of killing four at a Nashville Waffle House on April 22, will get a mental health evaluation before his case moves forward, The Tennessean reports. General Sessions Judge Michael Mondelli approved public defender Jon Wing’s request for a forensic examination today in the case’s first major court date. The evaluation will address Reinking’s “competency to stand trial” and his “mental condition at the time of the crime.”
