M. La-Troy Alexandria-Williams, a would-be primary challenger to U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen, has been again removed from the ballot after the Tennessee Court of Appeals reversed a Shelby County Chancery Court decision, the Nashville Post reports. The Tennessee Democratic Party removed Alexandria-Williams as a candidate in April, saying he had violated party bylaws, and Alexandria-Williams followed up with a lawsuit. The Chancery Court decision restored him to the ballot, but this week Judge Arthur B. Goldin authored a unanimous opinion saying that decision was incorrect.
