This month the Wilson County Commission voted to select Ensley Hagan to serve as the next Wilson County General Sessions Court judge after Judge John Gwin announced his plans to retire at the end of the year, The Lebanon Democrat reports. Hagan has subbed in on the bench before for Judge Barry Tatum and Judge James H. Flood, and currently serves on the Board of Professional Responsibility. Gwin served as a family court judge for the past 10 years in Wilson County, after starting his career as a family law attorney in 1977.
