Participating in the Meeting - Roundtables, Law School Mixers, TBA Meetings: You can join the Zoom meeting using your computer or cell phone. Video will be turned on for participants, but you can turn it off if you want after you join. You will be automatically muted when you join to prevent background noise from disrupting the meeting. You can unmute yourself to ask a question, or you can utilize the chat feature and type a question for the presenters. Please join the session a few minutes before announced time so that we can start on time.
Participating in a Webinar - Legislative Update, Better Right Now, Elaine Weiss and Bill Haltom Interview, Lawyer’s Luncheon: You can join the Zoom webinar using your computer or cell phone. Video and audio will be turned on for panelists but will not be made available for participants. You can utilize the Q&A and chat feature to type a question for the presenters. - Mute/Unmute: If using a computer, the “Mute/Unmute” should be on the bottom left of your screen for easy access. Please mute yourself if you aren’t talking. This prevents background noise from disrupting the meeting. If you are using a phone to participate in the meeting, press *6 to mute/unmute yourself.
- Chat: Use the “Chat” feature. On the bottom of your screen, you will see “Chat.” Click on that to open the chat window, which will be on the right side of your screen. You can type questions here. Please note; due to the high volume, not all questions may be addressed.
- Q&A (for Zoom Webinar events only): Some panelists may have the Q&A option avaliable to use for their presentation. On the bottom of your screen, you will see “Q&A.” Click on that to open the Q&A window. From there you can type questions and see your answer. Please note; due to the high volume, not all questions may be addressed.
- Gallery View: On the top right of your screen, you will see the option for “Gallery View” (looks like four boxes). Click this to be able to see all of the participants. “Speaker View” will shuffle between the participants and try to feature whomever is speaking as the largest window.
Join the Call: In order to keep the meeting secure, please do not share the meeting link, meeting ID or password.
