Diversity Leadership Institute Class of 2018

The Diversity Leadership Institute (DLI) is a six-month leadership and mentoring program for Tennessee law school students in their second and third years of study (fourth year students at Nashville School of Law also are eligible).

Learn Leadership Skills, Plus Get 5.75 Hours of Dual Credit

The Leadership Academy is full of opportunities for lawyers to gain effective leadership skills and strategies while earning ethics hours. Leadership is explored through an interactive curriculum examining the challenging characteristics needed in today’s leaders. On Nov. 19, learn from today’s leaders how to develop these skills, build characteristics of effective leadership and identify strategies to overcome challenges.

Applications Open for 2019 Diversity Leadership Institute

Applications are now being accepted for the 2019 class of the Diversity Leadership Institute (DLI), the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers Division's six-month training and development program for law students. Now in its ninth year, the DLI is designed to develop skills to succeed as an attorney, empower students to contribute to the legal community, match students to mentors in a diverse variety of practice areas and build relationships among students of diverse backgrounds. Interested applicants must be enrolled in a Tennessee law school and must be in their second, third or fourth year of study. To be accepted into the program, students must be TBA law student members.
