Fourth Estate Award

This award from the Tennessee Bar Association honors courageous reporting on justice and the law.

Tennessee-based journalists who have shown exemplary courage in exercising First Amendment rights in the promotion of public understanding of the Rule of Law and how our legal system works or should work will be considered. Such a journalist could be from the world of newspapers, TV or radio, digital media, book publishing or social media. To enter:

1. Complete and submit the form below.
2. Entries must be for projects produced in 2018.
3. Send copies of work to be considered to or by mail to Awards, Tennessee Bar Association, 221 Fourth Ave. North, Suite 400, Nashville, TN 37219.
4. Deadline for entry is May 1, 2019.

The selection committee will choose one recipient, who will be recognized during the Lawyers Luncheon at the TBA Annual Convention in Nashville in June.
