Job Search with JobLink
JobLink is the Tennessee Bar Association's portal for attorneys seeking employment, as well as employers seeking qualified candidates. This service is a TBA member benefit and is available to members and employers at no cost. All resumes and open positions are posted at the discretion of the TBA.
Join a Section
The TBA supports 33 Sections — specialized groups that focus on a particular practice area. Each Section provides its members with a number of resources and activities, from continuing legal education to news, legislation and advocacy. Members have the opportunity to join Sections as part of their annual membership or at any other time throughout the year.
Young Lawyers Division
The TBA Young Lawyers Division (YLD) is comprised of lawyers in their first five years of practice or under 36 years of age. It is dedicated to serving the professional needs of young lawyers and serving the public as the “service arm of the bar.” Members who qualify as YLD have access to additional programming, networking opportunities and resources.
Solo Practice Toolkit
The TBA offers members a single, user-friendly guide in which new solo and small firm attorneys could access useful information in one place. The materials in this package include information, procedures, and forms that are designed to assist the solo practitioner or small law firm in the management of a law practice.
TBA Leadership Law (TBALL) program is a premier leadership training program for members. TBALL aims to serve the legal profession by equipping participants with the vision, knowledge and skills necessary to serve as leaders in the profession and in the community as a whole.
Find a Mentor or Mentee - COMING SOON
The TBA Mentoring Program is designed to foster mutually beneficial relationships between the participating attorneys, reduce the isolation experienced by some beginning attorneys, and to generally benefit the legal profession as a whole. Members can participate in mentoring opportunities that include events, programs, access to practice area resources and traditional mentoring matches.
Get Your Name Out – Write an Article
Members can submit article to the Tennessee Bar Journal for review. The Journal serves as the official monthly publication of the TBA and distributed to the approximately 13,000 membership. Articles submitted to the Journal are reviewed by a seven-member editorial board.
