Mindfulness for Lawyers helps lawyers reduce stress, improve productivity, and increase resilience through mindfulness, a simple mental practice derived from meditation. Using guided mindfulness exercises and other techniques, lawyers will learn how to control stress and, in turn, improve productivity, creativity and the ability to uphold your ethical responsibilities as an attorney. Lawyers that practice mindfulness can expect reduced burnout, greater efficiency and productivity, and happier, healthier professional life.

  • How to Control Stress

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we are encountering unprecedented and life-altering circumstances far beyond our control, leaving many of us feeling scared, trapped, isolated, and stressed. This workshop will provide an overview of the human stress response system and how to modulate this survival instinct so that we can improve our mental resilience and reduce the harmful consequences of overwhelming stress. Practices for stress reduction will be explored, including the practice of mindfulness. Participants will learn about, deepen, and immerse in the practice of mindfulness, while exploring ways of bringing it into their lives, both personally and professionally. By learning how to control stress, lawyers will be able to improve productivity, creativity, and the ability to uphold ethical responsibilities while unlocking happier, healthier professional lives.
