Attorneys and Metro Schools Team Up to Help Parents

Nashville public defender Dawn Deaner has teamed up with the district attorney, the Criminal Court Clerk's Office and Metro Schools to offer a “cafeteria courtroom” program to parents. The goal is to help low-income parents, chosen by the schools, understand and resolve minor legal issues without having to choose between going to work and going to court.
