Convicted Bus Driver May Face More Time on Statutory Rape Charges

The bus driver convicted on charges related to the death of six children in a Chattanooga bus crash, may face more prison time for having sex with a 14-year-old girl in Nashville, the Tennessean reports. Johnthony Walker told police in June about the incidents, which he later said he considered "repulsive," according to testimony during a preliminary hearing Thursday. After hearing the testimony, General Sessions Judge Allegra Walker ruled there was enough evidence to send the statutory rape case on to the grand jury.
