Leadership Development for Lawyers is Focus of UT Law Conference

Law school deans and students from across the country will be in Knoxville this weekend for the inaugural conference on Leadership Development for Lawyers. Former UT Law Dean Doug Blaze is chairing the event, which will feature keynote addresses from ABA President Robert Carlson and North Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice Cheri Beasley, a UT Law grad who is the state's first African-American women to serve in that post. Workshops will address integrating well-being into legal leadership curricula, how to develop effective leadership skills and how to best assess those leadership development efforts.
