Tennessee courts should should use technology to improve access and lower costs, Tennessee Supreme Court Chief Justice Sharon Lee told the Cleveland Rotary Club on Tuesday. Outlining her goals for improving the state's judiciary, Lee pointed to a need to introduce e-filing to the court system, The Cleveland Banner reported, as part of efforts to deal with declining revenues and the challenge of doing more with less. “We have to take a really hard look at how we do things," Lee said. "A top-to-bottom review of how we spend our tax dollars is needed to make sure that we are being good stewards of our budget, and to see how we can deliver our services in a more efficient, more effective manner."
