YLD Announces Annual Award Recipients - Articles

The TBA Young Lawyers Division held its annual board dinner in conjunction with the TBA Convention on June 17, at the Omni Hotel in downtown Nashville.
 
Rachel Moses was on hand for her last task as TBA YLD President, which was to give out some well-deserved awards. Those included the Stars of the Quarter for the third and fourth quarters of the bar year. Recipients included Kristen Corn, Alex McVeagh, Will Hicky, Troy Weston, Ariel Anthony, Alicia Teubert and Judd Taback for the third quarter, and Bryce McKenzie, Holly Mancl, Ashley Holliday, Ben Conley, Lauren Curry, and Cherrelle Hooper for the fourth.
 
The Public Service Project Award went to Cole Rogers, for his successful clinic at the Madison Public Library during the YLD’s Access to Justice Legal Clinic Initiative. The President’s Special Recognition Award went to Christian Barker for exceptional service as Public Service Chair, Middle Tennessee Governor and Publications Committee Liaison during the 2015-2016 Bar Year. 
 
The President’s Award went to Amber Floyd and John Rice in recognition and grateful appreciation for tireless dedication to the improvement of the legal profession by promoting diversity and inclusion through the Diversity Committee.
