YLD Holds Annual Meeting, Mancl Assumes Office at TBA Convention

YLD President-Elect Rachel Mancl took over the office of President at the annual TBA Convention, during which she was passed the official gavel of the presidency and held her second round of board meetings on June 18. Her first meetings were held during the YLD's spring planning session in April.

The YLD held its annual meeting on June 17, which all young lawyer members of the TBA were invited to attend. At the meeting, offices that were pending appointment were approved by those present. Then-President Rachel Moses presided over the meeting, which also featured a vote over a proposed bylaw amendedment. The amendment, which would allow changes to the way bylaws can be amended in the future, passed.

In addition to Mancl taking office as President, Ahsaki Baptist assumed the office of President-Elect, Christian Barker officially became the Vice President and Josh Dougan took over as the new Secretary. Ashley Holliday will remain as Treasurer for another year, and Moses will move on to be the Immediate Past President.
