Leadership at the Charlotte School of Law has vowed to fight a U.S. Department of Education ruling issued Wednesday that said the school’s students would no longer receive financial aid. The ABA Journal reports that the school has also backed out of a previous plan to allow students to attend Florida Coastal School of Law, which is owned by the same company, Infilaw. The Department of Education decision was made after an investigation found that the school made “substantial misrepresentations” to students regarding its compliance with American Bar Association accreditation standards.
