The Tennessee Bar Foundation recently installed Knoxville attorney Angelia Nystrom as its 41st chair during its annual membership meeting. Nystrom was first elected to the board in 2015 as East Tennessee trustee. She has also served as secretary and was a member of the committee responsible for creating the “Tennessee Legal Initiatives Fund,” which has granted $3,300,000 to law-related, new initiatives across the state. Nystrom is the executive director of Specialty Programs for Institutional Advancement for the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture. She will chair the foundation through June 2023.
