Sponsored by the Women's Political Collaborative, the event featured comments from trailblazing Judge Martha Craig Daughtrey and a presentation of gavels to new judges from Nashville Bar Association President and Public Defender Martesha Johnson Moore. Supreme Court Justice Sharon Lee administered the oath of office to the 19 judges: Chancellors Pat Moskal, Anne Martin and I'Ashea Myles; Circuit Court Judges Amanda McClendon, Andra Hedrick and Lynne Ingram; Juvenile Court Judge Sheila Calloway; Criminal Court Judges Angelita Blackshear Dalton, Cheryl Blackburn, Jennifer Smith, Khadija Babb and Cindy Chappell; and General Sessions Court Judges Melissa Blackburn, Ana Escobar, Allegra Walker, Robin Kimbrough Hayes, Rachel Bell and Lynda Jones.
