I currently serve as Sr. Director, Enterprise Risk and Compliance for The Pilot Company and its various subsidiaries, affiliates and brands ("Pilot"). Pilot owns and operates more than 800 travel centers across the United States and Canada in 44 states and 5 Canadian provinces. At Pilot, my focus lies in steering our risk and compliance trajectory to meet the highest standards of integrity while empowering the organization to make dynamic risk-aware decisions on its journey to deliver on its vision. Working with various teams, we've fortified our retail and trading operations, ensuring they align seamlessly with the ever-changing landscape of legal and regulatory requirements. Our efforts are rooted in the creation and management of comprehensive policies and risk management frameworks. My tenure has been marked by the development of robust initiatives compliant with Department of Justice guidelines, particularly in the realms of retail, energy, commodity trading, and global anti-corruption laws. With certifications in GRCP and CCEP, alongside my experience in legal compliance and corporate law, we've fostered a culture of transparency and ethical business practices. While continuing to manage our corporate compliance program, I'm now in the midst of establishing an enterprise risk management program for Pilot. Utilizing dynamic risk management governance, the goal is to identify, assess, and manage risks in a way that empowers decision-making, supports innovation, and protects long-term value for our team members, guests, and partners.
