Carolyn Levy Gilliam is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law. She primarily practices in the areas of estate planning, including wills, trusts, and elder law; conservatorships, social security disability, personal injury, and business litigation. Mrs. Gilliam has worked at McDonald, Levy & Taylor since her senior year at Farragut high school. She received her Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Management from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. Mrs. Gilliam had the highest GPA of Management majors in her class. Mrs. Gilliam has been selected into the Academic Honor Society of Phi Eta Sigma. Mrs. Gilliam is also a member of numerous bar associations, including the Knoxville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Tennessee Lawyers' Association for Women, and the Tennessee Association for Justice. Mrs. Gilliam is the President for Legacy Housing Foundation, a non-profit, that provides innovative programs and life-enhancing services to improve the quality of life for individuals, families, seniors and people with disabilities in need of affordable housing. She also serves as the Co-Treasurer for the Dream Connection, a non-profit, that fulfills “once-in-a-lifetime dream come true” of children between the ages of three and eighteen, with life-threatening or chronically debilitating illnesses in the East Tennessee community. Mrs. Gilliam is also on the board of Legacy Housing Foundation whose mission is provide innovative programs, life enhancing services and strong affordable housing communities for everyone in need. Mrs. Gilliam loves to play golf, and played Division I golf during her college years at Mercer University. Mrs. Gilliam is a golfing member at Fox Den Country Club in Farragut, Tennessee where she lives with her husband, Eric, and two children.
