TBA Intellectual Property CLE Blast 2022

We have an exciting day planned for this year's Intellectual Property CLE Blast! We have various topics ranging from NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) to music business, patents and more. Plan to stay until the end because we also have a blind bourbon and whiskey tasting planned for a Happy Hour immediately following the program. We will also have some wine, beer and nonalcoholic options for attendees. Materials for this program will be made available online.
WHAT IS BLAST FORMAT: The flexible "blast" format allows you to create your own schedule. Take as many or as few CLE sessions as you want. The registration desk will be open all day, so you can come and go for the hours you need when it is convenient for you. You will check-out and pay for the sessions you attended whenever you finish. Attendees can earn up to 5 hours of CLE credit.
COST: Payment will be determined at checkout depending on the number of hours you attend.
- $40.00 per hour for TBA Intellectual Property Section Members
- $50.00 per hour for TBA Members
- $80.00 per hour for Non-Members

- 9:30-10am CT: Check-In and Light Breakfast
- 10am -12pm CT: "College Athletes Can Now Say - “Show Me the Money!” by AJ Bahou, Bobby Bramhill, Melia Jones and Scott White (2 General)
- 12-12:30pm CT: Lunch
- 12:30-1:30pm CT: "Ethical Considerations for IP Lawyers" by Seth Ogden and Hemant Gupta (1 Dual)
- 1:30-1:45pm CT: Break
- 1:45-2:45pm CT: "Best Practices for Patent Portfolio Management in Light of Developments in 35 USC 101" by William Fortunato (1 General)
- 2:45-3pm CT: Break
- 3-4pm CT: "Rock of Aging" by Ken Abdo (1 General)
- 4-5pm CT: Networking Reception and blind whiskey and bourbon tasting led by Ed Lanquist
