Litigation Law Roundtable: From the Supreme Court to the Trial Courts - Navigating Covid-19 Orders, Rules, and Local Practices
Thu, August 27, 2020
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM CT
The phrases “new normal” and “unprecedented times,” while overused and tiring, nevertheless describe the situation for Tennessee’s trial lawyers. Courts’ evolving and varied rules of practice and procedures present attorneys with additional layers of concern when pushing their cases during the current pandemic. Join members of the TBA Litigation Section in a lively discussion and exchange of ideas about navigating Covid-19 orders, rules, and practices from the Supreme Court and trial courts throughout the State’s three Grand Divisions.
Speakers:
Zac Greene, Miller & Martin, Chattanooga
Marty Phillips, Rainey Kizer Reviere & Bell, Jackson
Todd Presnell, Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, Nashville
Next Steps: This roundtable is free and open to all members of the TBA.
Please complete the RSVP by 9 a.m. CT / 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, August 27 in order to receive access to the event via Zoom.
Q&A: Please feel free to submit any prior questions with the subject line "Litigation Roundtable" to Maresa Whaley at mwhaley@tnbar.org.
*This Roundtable is not eligible for CLE hours.
