REINSTATED

Knox County Lynda Nine Blankenship was reinstated to the practice of law on May 8, retroactive to May 1. She had been placed on inactive status in March 1994.

DISABILITY INACTIVE

The Tennessee Supreme Court transferred the law license of Kentucky lawyer Shelly R. Fears to disability inactive status on Feb. 7. Fears may not practice law while on inactive status. She may return to the practice of law after reinstatement, which requires a showing of clear and convincing evidence that the disability has been removed and she is fit to resume the practice of law.

DISABILITY INACTIVE

The law license of Hawkins County lawyer Renfro Blackburn Baird III was transferred to disability inactive status on May 13 by the Tennessee Supreme Court. Baird may not practice law while on inactive status. He may return to the practice of law after reinstatement, which requires a showing of clear and convincing evidence that the disability has been removed and he is fit to resume the practice of law.
