Disability Inactive

The license of Shelby County lawyer Ronald Kent Brooks was transferred to disability inactive status by the Board of Professional Responsibility on April 18, pursuant to Section 27.3 of Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9. Brooks cannot practice law until he proves to the Tennessee Supreme Court that the disability has been removed.

REINSTATED

Arkansas attorney Dannell L. Patrick was reinstated to the practice of law by the Board of Professional Responsibility on March 14. Patrick filed a petition for reinstatement on March 13, demonstrating that all delinquent annual registration fees were paid on Sept. 30, 2016.

Disability Inactive
The Tennessee Supreme Court ordered the law license of Nashville lawyer Jason Nahon transferred to disability inactive status on Feb. 28. The order was pursuant to Section 27.3 of Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9.

DISABILITY INACTIVE

The law license of Tipton County lawyer Thomas Dale Forrester was transferred to disability inactive status on Jan. 17. While on inactive status, Forrester may not practice law. He may petition the court for reinstatement by showing by clear and convincing evidence that the disability has been removed and he is fit to resume the practice of law.

Disability Inactive

The law license of Davidson County lawyer John Edward Herbison was transferred to disability inactive status on December 30. He may not practice law while on inactive status but may petition the court for reinstatement by showing clear and convincing evidence that the disability has been removed and he is fit to resume the practice of law.

REINSTATED

Davidson County lawyer William Ashby Smith has been reinstated to the practice of law after taking inactive status in March 2007. The Tennessee Supreme Court reports that Smith filed a petition seeking reinstatement in November and demonstrated that he has met the requirements for reinstatement.

Nashville lawyer Donald Walter Fisher. was reinstated to the practice of law Dec. 15, 2016, with conditions including working with a practice monitor and the Tennessee Lawyers Assistance Program. He was suspended Aug. 21, 2015.

REINSTATED

Kennesaw, Georgia, attorney Ben A. Coleman was reinstated to the practice of law on Oct. 7. He had been placed on inactive status on Feb. 1, 2010.

REINSTATED

Davidson County lawyer James D. R. Roberts was reinstated to the practice of law on Sept. 20 after the Tennessee Supreme Court found that he had fulfilled the requirements for reinstatement. Roberts had been suspended on March 18 for six months.
