REINSTATED

The Supreme Court of Tennessee reinstated the law license of Davidson County lawyer William Caldwell Hancock on Oct. 16. Hancock had been suspended for one year on Aug. 13, 2015, but the court took this action based upon Hancock’s assertion that he did not receive a copy of a final judgment issued by the trial court in his appeal of an attorney disciplinary proceeding. The trial court granted Hancock relief by re-entering its final judgment affirming the disciplinary sanction on Sept. 29 and initiated a new period to appeal.

REINSTATED

The Supreme Court of Tennessee reinstated the license of Washington County lawyer Mitchell Stanley Givens on Sept. 22. He now will begin serving a probationary period. Givens’ license was suspended for one year on Aug. 13, with 30 days to be served on active suspension and the rest on suspension.

REINSTATED

The Supreme Court of Tennessee reinstated the law license of Knoxville lawyer Keith Lane Edmiston on Aug. 24. Edmiston had been on disability inactive status since Dec. 2, 2013. He petitioned the court to reinstate his license on April 17.

REINSTATED

The Supreme Court of Tennessee reinstated the law license of Wilson County lawyer Patricia Lynne Stolinsky on July 8. Stolinsky had been temporarily suspended on April 17 for failing to respond to the Board of Professional Responsibility regarding a complaint of misconduct.

The Supreme Court of Tennessee reinstated the law license of Knox County lawyer William S. Lockett on July 27. Lockett had been suspended on July 3, 2012, for four years, retroactive to April 13, 2010.

REINSTATED

Davidson County lawyer William Caldwell Hancock was reinstated to the practice of law on June 15 by the Tennessee Supreme Court. He had been suspended on Sept. 30, 2014, for a period of 30 days. He petitioned for reinstatement on May 6.

Davidson County lawyer Jamie Ellen Machamer was reinstated to the practice of law on June 16 by the Tennessee Supreme Court. She had been temporarily suspended on May 28 for failing to respond to the Board of Professional Responsibility regarding a complaint of misconduct.

REINSTATED

Sumner County lawyer Mary Jeanette Clement was reinstated to the practice of law on May 8. Clement was suspended in June 2014 for two years, with nine months to be served on active suspension and 15 months to be served on probation. The court reports that Clement now begins the probation period.

Madison County lawyer Angela Jenkins-Hines was reinstated to the practice of law on April 13. She had been suspended on Jan. 23 for one year, with 60 days to be served on active suspension and the remainder to be served on probation.

REINSTATED

John Edward Herbison Jr. was reinstated to the practice of law on Feb. 24. Herbison had been suspended on Nov. 20, 2014, for 18 months, with 60 days to be served on active suspension and the remaining 16 months to be served on probation. Herbison filed for reinstatement on Feb. 2. His probationary period began on the date of reinstatement.

Reinstated

The Tennessee Supreme Court reinstated the law license of Putnam County lawyer Gary N. Lovellette on Feb. 2. Lovellette had been temporarily suspended on Nov. 26, 2014, for failing to respond to the Board of Professional Responsibility regarding a complaint of misconduct.

The Tennessee Supreme Court reinstated the law license of Davidson County lawyer Ramsdale O’DeNeal Jr. on Feb. 23. O’DeNeal had been suspended on April 7, 2009, for one year. He petitioned the court for reinstatement on May 23, 2014.

REINSTATED

The Supreme Court of Tennessee reinstated the law license of Shelby County lawyer John Robert Hershberger on Jan. 21. Hershberger had been suspended on May 30, 2014, for two years, with 60 days to be served on active suspension and the remainder on probation. On Dec. 15, 2014, Hershberger demonstrated that all conditions for reinstatement had been met. He now must serve the remainder of the two-year period on probation.
