Nashville lawyer Bill Harbison became the Tennessee Bar Association's president June 19 when Tennessee Supreme Court Justice Jeffrey Bivins administered the oath of office to him at the Lawyers Luncheon during the TBA's 134th annual convention in Memphis. Lucian Pera to be TBA?President

Memphis attorney Lucian Pera of Adams and Reese will be president of the Tennessee Bar Association in 2017–2018, according to election-qualifying results. No other candidate filed for the vice president position by the Feb. 15 deadline. After taking office as vice president this summer, Pera will become president-elect in 2016-2017 and take over the organization’s leadership in June 2017.
