The TBA’s Mentoring Committee, in partnership with the Young Lawyers Division, is now offering its “Developing Lawyers, Developing Leaders” program on demand. The program provides one general and two dual CLE credits and focuses on mentorship and professional development through the lenses of ethical responsibility and leadership. Featuring sessions led by practitioners and judges, the program offers practical tools for building effective mentoring relationships, enhancing professionalism and supporting long-term career growth. The inaugural Joint Georgia/Tennessee Construction Law Conference hosted by TBA's Construction Law Section is now available as a 1-Click package. The CLE sessions are for both Georgia and Tennessee construction attorneys, covering topics such as regional differences in construction law, a view from the bench session featuring judges and arbitrators, a case study session and more. The TBA Litigation Practice Section is continuing its “Perspectives From the Bench” series on May 21 at the new TBA office in Nashville. The program will feature a conversation with Tennessee Supreme Court Chief Justice Jeffrey Bivins and former Supreme Court Justice and current Nashville School of Law Dean Bill Koch. Attorneys Hunter Branstetter with Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison and Todd Presnell with Bradley Arant Boult Cummings will moderate the discussion, which will focus on each justice's path to the bench, the role of mentors, the importance of the Rule of Law and more.
